Shrewsbury, United Kingdom – BeaverFit, a leading global provider of high-security and tactical training solutions, has announced the acquisition of Bastion, a UK-based specialist in physical security systems.

This acquisition further strengthens BeaverFit’s defence and security offerings, allowing the company to integrate Bastion’s modular walling systems into a broader suite of deployable infrastructure and force protection solutions.

“We’ve long admired Bastion’s expertise in physical security and are thrilled to welcome them into the BeaverFit group,” said Tom Beaver, managing director and founder at BeaverFit UK. “This partnership allows us to combine forces and deliver even greater value to clients needing scalable, modular protection in mission-critical environments.”

Founded in the late 1970s, Bastion has pioneered solutions designed to mitigate threats such as forced entry, ballistic impact, blast effects and surreptitious attack. Their newest innovation, the Multi-Threat™ modular room and walling system, is the first of its kind to allow on-site upgrades in response to evolving threat levels. The system features full LPS 1175: Issue 8 certifications from D5 to G5, a fire integrity rating at 120 minutes, and a recyclable, bolt-together assembly for easy deployment and relocation.

“In an increasingly uncertain world, where defence and national security issues are prominent, key suppliers need scalable capabilities to develop and deliver next-generation solutions,” said Tom D., managing director at Bastion.

Bastion’s product range and expertise will become part of BeaverFit’s security division, expanding the company’s ability to deliver modular solutions that support real-world operational requirements.

“Bastion and BeaverFit have complementary assets and skills; and together, they have a huge opportunity to become a leader in innovative, rapidly deployable, highly protected workspace, in the UK and elsewhere,” Tom D. added.

The combined offering will be showcased at the DSEI 2025 defence and security exhibition in London, 9-12 September at stand N3-260 in the Land Zone (North Hall).

The acquisition is a part of BeaverFit’s continued mission to grow its UK and global footprint, while meeting the increasingly complex needs of defence and security clients. Bastion’s design and manufacturing capabilities will remain based in the UK, supporting UK and international projects. BeaverFit received corporate finance advice from CN Strategic Advisors LLP led by David Baggott, and legal advice from Harrison Drury.
